People drop deeper and deeper into relaxation opening up and releasing what they need to, on the day, with the help of sound. Music is an important part of my practice and I would love to share with you the albums (the gifted healing artists) who share this space.
“Shamanic Dream” – Anugama
Ambient, gentle, very soothing sounds; using the drum to express the beat of the heart. Deeply connects you with Mother Earth. The sound frequencies on this album work with the rainbow bridge (main chakras of the subtle body).
“Password” – Deva Premal
“Mantras are magical passwords that transform the mundane into the sacred” – Deva Premal. This album is infused with light; with shakti (divine enerygy); created in India – in the cradle of Bhakti Yoga – where kirtan was birthed.
“Shaman’s Eye” – Liquid Bloom
“Developed by a spiritual counselor and a musical alchemist, this transporting listening experience, propelled by the steady heartbeat of trance, is a tool for awakening your heart’s wisdom, intuition and healing potential.”
Some beneficial offerings outside of the massage space –
“The Visionary Artist – Visualisations for Creative Exploration” – Alex Grey
A CD collection by the well known Visionary Artist Alex Grey who guides us through his own experiences of art as a revelatory and healing force. Insights abound woven through great stories, narrated by Alex Grey, his wisdom so generously shared.
“Radical Self-Acceptance” – Tara Brach (Buddhist Clinical Psychologist)
It is not a musical compilation – more of a teaching on how to become your own best friend! Tara Brach has such a beautiful, gentle, intelligent, aware voice – maybe there is someone you know who may benefit from some kind words.
Within this beautiful recording a poem by Rumi called The Guesthouse:
“This very being human is a guesthouse, every morning a new arrival; a joy; a depression; a meanness, some momentary awareness comes as an unexpected visitor. Welcome and entertain them all even if they are a crowd of sorrows who violently sweep your house empty of it’s furniture still greet each guest honorably, he may be clearing you out for some new delight; the dark thought; the shame; the malice; meet them at the door, invite them in, be grateful for whoever comes because each has been sent as a guide from beyond”
